David Adeleke has just made another landmark stride as he becomes the first African artist to feature in a World Cup theme song. The Qatar 2022 World Cup has finally given Nigerians something to smile about seeing that the Super eagles won’t feature at the event.

FIFA on its official page announced the artist they had chosen to feature on the theme song and this has sent a viral wave of excitement across the continent of Africa. They highlighted that their choice of selection was based on connecting with audiences worldwide through the shared passions of football and music.

Davido has not been able to contain his excitement as he has given out the name of the song as ‘Hayya Hayya’ (Better Together).

Davido recently tweeted on his official handle, “I’m honored to be featured on the Official ⁦#FIFAWorldCup 2022 Soundtrack! See y’all later 2NITE! This one is for Africa! TULE!!!! WE RISE!”

This comes as a great news for Davido and the 30BG family. This song features also features Trinidad Cardona (US) and Qatari sensation Aisha.
